Tirumala, Dec 05, 2012 (P.R.O): The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has made elaborate arrangements of darshan and accommodation on the auspicious days of Vaikuntha Ekadasi and Dwadasi which falls on December 23 and December 24 respectively.

TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam briefed on the arrangements to media persons at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Wednesday. Tirumala JEO Sri KS Srinivasa Raju, CVSO Sri GVG Ashok Kumar, Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy and other officers were also present. Excerpts:

·         The protocol VIP and VIP break darshan will conclude by 5am on both the days.

·         All the VIPs are requested to bring ID cards which is mandatory for booking of darshan and accommodation

·         Tickets will be issued not exceeding six persons per VIP

·         Only two rooms will be provided per VIP at MBC 34, SPGH Sub-enquiry office and at Gamble Guest House only

·         Only laghu darshan will be implemented without harati

·         The pilgrims who are trekking Alipiri foot path will be issued stamping tickets with indicative timing. These tickets will be issued 24hrs before i.e. issuing of these tickets will commence from  Zero hours of 22 nd December (i.e.midnight of 21December)

·         For those who are trekking Srivari Mettu footpath route will be issued the tickets from 6am of December 22

·         No privilege darshan Viz. Physically Challenged and Aged, Parents with Infants on Vaikuntha Ekadasi Day. While only physically challenged and aged will be allowed for darshan on Vaikuntha Dwadasi Day by 10am.

·         Only 15thousand tickets will be issued on Vaikuntha Ekadasi and 10thousand tickets will be issued on Vaikuntha Dwadasi

·         Advance booking of Rs.300 tickets will be on December 8 th and 9 th in Tirupati e-darshan counters while in places like Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Vizag, Vijayawada and Warangal the tickets will be issued on 12 th and 13 th of December within specified ratio in respective e-darshan counters

·         Rs.300 tickets will not be issued in Tirumala


·         Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on December 18 in view of Vaikuntha Ekadasi on December 23

·         TTD has cancelled arjitha sevas on both the days

·         There will be Swarnaratham procession between 9am to 10am on Vaikuntha Ekadasi day

·         There will procession of Chakrattalwar and Chankrasnanam between 4.30am to 5.30am on Vaikuntha Dwadasi day
