CM INAUGURATES NEW REST HOUSE AT TIRUMALA
Tirumala, Nov 25, 2012 (P.R.O): To meet the ever growing accommodation requirements of the visiting pilgrims TTD has come up with yet another rest house-Narayanagiri Rest House IV which was inaugurated by Hon’ble AP CM Sri N Kiran Kumar Reddy in Tirumala on Sunday.
The TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam and JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju explained to the CM about the plan of the 30-room rest house which was constructed at a cost of Rs.4.18cr that can accommodate about 150 pilgrims.
The CM also laid foundation stone to Telugu Ganga water pipe line proposed at SV Poor Home at a cost of Rs.15cr to utilise 10MLD of water to be used to meet the water requirements of TTD institutions at Tirupati and Tirumala.
The CM also laid foundation stone towards the construction of four blocks meant for veda pandits in the premises of Dharmagiri Veda Pathashala at Tirumala at an estimated cost of Rs.3.4cr.
Later CM released the brouchers on Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba in Telugu and Grandeur of Tirumala Temple through inscriptions in English.
