SRINIVASA KALYANAMS ENTHRALLS DENIZENS OF TORONTO

Tirupati, Nov 08, 2012 (P.R.O): The celestial marriage to the processional deities of Lord Malayappa Swamy and His two Consorts – “Srinivasa Kalyanams” which was performed at Toronto, the capital city of Canada on November 4 provided a colourful feast to the eyes of thousands of devotees who converged to witness the grandeur of the divine marriage.

With an aim to propagate and take the glory of Lord of Lords Sri Venkateswara across the globe, TTD has launched a noval programme Srinivasa Kalyanams. So far apart from major cities of India, the celestial wedding has been performed at Nepal and US outside country.

Now Canada has set ready to witness series of these kalyanams which began at Vancover on November 3 and will conclude at Mantrial on November 18.

The priests performed Punyahavachanam, Edurkolu, Mangalyadharana Mahotsavam, Talambralu and Mangala Harati were performed as per Hindu tradition to the tastefully decorated processional deities of Lord Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi.

This mega event provided a religious treat to the NRIs and denizens of Toronto who were enthralled by the charm of the Universal Lord.

TTD Chairman Sri K Bapiraju along with his wife Smt Annapurna, Deputy EO Smt Chenchulakshmi, Srinivasa Kalyanam Project Officer Sri Ramakrishna were also present in the celestial fete.
