Lakshmi KASULA HARAM presented to Ammavari PAT Brahmotsavam

Tiruchanur, Nov 14, 2012 (P.R.O): The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams today presented the Lakshmi Haram in a procession for decoration of the Gajavahanam as part of the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Brahmotsavam.

As part of revival of an age old tradition the Lakshmi haram which is adorned to the Mula Virat of Srivari Temple was brought in a procession from the Sri Vari Temple to Pasupu Mandapam in Trichanoor by the Sri K.S.Srinivasa Raju, JEO Tml and upto the Padmavati Ammavari Temple by the JEO Tirupati Sri Venkatrami Reddy.

The sacred Lakshmi Haram is a a long necklace made of gold coins which is normally brought out of the Srivari temple and decorated to the Utsava idol in the grand Garudotsvam procession during the Brahmotsavams.
