Srivari Temple (Tirumala), September 19: The first Snapana Thirumanjanam of the ongoing Salakatla Brahmotsavam was performed this afternoon at the Srivari Temple in a solemn manner.

The holy manjanam ritual was performed to the utsav Idols of Malayappa Swamy and his consorts at the Ranganayaka Mantapam.

The Agama exponent Sri Sundara Varada Bhattacharya led a team of 15 priests of the Lord Venkateswara in performing the ritual which would usher in peace, harmony and prosperity to man kind.

Sandalwood paste, Tulsi and perfumed and camphor scented water was used in performing the ritual which was witnessed by EO Sri L V Subramanyam and the TTD chairman Sri K Bapi Raju.

During the ritual the priests recited Divya Prabhat vachanam Nityavedatva and Panchasuktas.

TTD JEO Sri P.Venkatarami Reddy, TTD Board Member Sri L.R.Sivaprasad, DIG Ms. Charu Sinha, Sri Munirathnam Reddy, DyEO(Temple), Temple Peishkar Sri Venkataiah and others were also present.
