TTD PERFORMS ‘PRAHLADAM” FOR PREGNANT WOMEN
Tirupati, 29 May 2012 (P.R.O ) Tirupati, 29 May 2012: “Prahladam” organised by TTD exclusively for pregnant women(below six months pregnancy) from May 27 till June 3 which will be carried out in the Govinda Raja Swamy temple at Tirupati.
The programmed has been mulled by TTD keeping in view the pregnant women, so that they will deliver child who is not only hale and healthy but traditionally well cultured and intelligent, which is very much essential for the prosperity of this great country in future.
Prahladam is indeed a programme which was in vogue in ancient India. “These women will be rendered with Vedasirvachanam in front of Pundarikavalli temple every day evening at around 6:45pm in the Govindaraja Swamy temple premises. The prime motto of TTD is protect Hindu Sanatana Dharma. This programme will help the to be mothers to deliver infants who are physically and ethically good”, he added.
Smt. Surya Kumari, Spl Gr DyEO presented bangles, swamy vari prasadam to the pregnant women.
