Kalyana Venkateswaraswamy Brahmaotsavam from May 31

TTD joint executive officer P Venkatrami Reddy called upon the officials to take all necessary steps for successful conduct of the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswamy temple at Narayanavanam, 65 km from here on the lines of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru in Tiruchanoor and Sri Kodandarama Swamy in Tirupati, on a grand scale.
The nine-day Kalyana Venkateswaraswamy Brahmotsavams will commence from May 31.
Reviewing the arrangements for the Brahmotsavams with the officials at Padmavathi guest house, here on Wednesday, the JEO wanted the officials to give wide publicity to the festival in the surrounding villages and hamlets with the help of local bhajan mandalis and temple committees.
He also wanted them to distribute posters, pamphlets and booklets explaining the importance of Sthalapurana of the temple and this should help in increasing the turnout of pilgrims for the mega religious event.
TTD security officer Ashok Kumar, chief engineer Chandrasekhar Reddy, superintendent engineer Ramachandra Reddy, temple deputy EO Gopala Krishna and other officials were present.
