Sri KALYANA VENKATESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE BRAHMOTSAVAM IN SRINIVASA MANGAPURAM BEGINS FROM FEB 12
Tirupati, 04 Feb 2012(P.R.O)The annual brahmotsavams of Lord Kalyana Venkateswara of Srinivasa Mangapuram will be conducted from 12 February, 2012 to 20 Feb,2012 on par with the Srivari Brahmotsavams of Tirumala in a grand manner, said TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam.
Reviewing with the officials in TTD Kalyana Mandapam at Srinivasa Mangapuram on Saturday the EO said TTD has witnessed unprecedented turnout of pilgrim devotees during Srivari Brahmotsavams, Ammavari Brahmotsavams and the very recent Rathasapthami festival. “In the similar way, we should organise the Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple brahmtosavams also without any compromise. Give wide publicity in all the surrounding villages, hamlets with the help of local bhajan mandalis, village panchyat heads, revenue and panchayat officials”, he directed the officials.
He said publicity posters, pamphlets and small books explaining the importance of Sthala Purana of the temple to be distributed in the villages. “This should help in increasing the turnout of pilgrims for the mega religious event by many folds. We will also arrange Harati points for each department during the procession of various vahanams as a part of the brahmtosavams”, he added.
Later speaking to media persons the EO said, TTD is planning to organise the Srinivasa Mangapuram brahmotsavams in a big way never like before after seeing the overwhelming response to the recent religous event Rathasapthami in Tirumala. “We are also arranging special buses for the sake of the locals and visiting pilgrims. The floral, electrical arrangements will be made in a grand manner to give a festive look to the entire temple town. We appeal to the media to give wide publicity so that more number of pilgrims take part in the celestial event and get the blessings of Lord Kalyana Venkateswara”, he added.
Important day of the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple Brahmotsavam: Dwajarohanam (bet 9am to 9.30am) on 12 Feb, Garuda Vahanam on 16 Feb, Rathotsavam by 7.30am on 19 Feb and Chakrasnanam on 20 Feb told EO TTD.
TTD Tirupati Joint EO Sri P Venkatrami Reddy, CVSO Sri MK Singh, Chief Engineer Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Agama Advisor Dr. Vishnu Bhattacharya, SE Sri Sudhakar Rao, Temple Dy.E.O Sri Gopala Krishna, temple inspector Sri Natraj and other officials were also present.
