Balaji Kalyanotsavams in M’rashtra from Jan 20

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is all set to organise the 100th Kalyanotsavam of
Lord Venkateswara in the temple city of Kolhapur in Maharashtra on January 21 in a grand manner.
As part of the propagation of Hindu Sanatana Dharma, the TTD had started the religious event of organising Kalyanotsavams outside the Tirumala temple across the country about five years ago.
For the first time, the TTD will be organising Kalyanotsavams continuously for ten consecutive days in Maharashtra, starting January 20.
As Mumbai and Pune are densely populated citties, the TTD will be organising Kalyanotsavams at two places in these cities.
However, Kolhapur being the abode of Goddess Sri Mahalakshmi, Consort of Lord Venkateswara, the TTD is all set to organise the looth Kalyanotsavam on a grand manner there.
Maharashtra ministers, TTD board chairman and trust members, TTD top officials, local advisory board members and large number of devotees will take part in the celebrations at Kolhapur and also the series of Srivari Kalyanotsavams in Maharashtra.
