PRAYED LORD VENKATESWARA FOR WELLBEING OF THE PEOPLE AND PROSPERITY OF THE NATION- TTD Chairman

Tirumala, 01 Jan 2012(P.R.O) The TTD Board Chief Sri Kanumuru Bapiraju and EO Sri LV Subramanyam jointly said that they have prayed the Lord of Lords Sri Venkateswara to shower His blessings on the entire humanity of the nation.

Addressing media persons after coming out of the Tirumala temple on Sunday, they said that TTD has began sarva darshan for pilgrims one and a half hours before the scheduled time. “We have announced earlier that the sarva darshan will commence by 4am. But we commenced it well in advance by 2.35am itself”, the Chairman said.

The Chairman and EO thanked the pilgrims for co-operating with TTD in its initiatives of darshan system. “The Srivari and Ammavari brahmotsavams were a huge hit because of the co-operation by the pilgrims. The have exhibited same disciplene and patience today”, the chairman added.

Among the VIPs who had darshan of Lord on New Year day, Supreme Court Judge Jusitce Dalweer Bhandari, MPs Sri Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, Dr.Chinta Mohan, state cabinet minister Smt Sunitha Lakshma Reddy, wee present. TTD board member Sri C Muthyam Reddy, JEOs Sri KS Srinivasa Raju, Sri P Venkatrami Reddy, CVSO Sri MK Singh, CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, SE II Sri Ramesh Reddy and others also had darshan.
