TIRUPPAVAI TO BEGIN FROM DECEMBER 17

TIRUMALA, DEC 16: The 30-stanza Tiruppavai will be recited in the place of ‘Suprabhatham’ by the temple priests during the wee hours at the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala from December 17 to January 14 following the commencement of Dhanurmasam in the late hours of Friday.

Meanwhile according to Dharmagiri Veda Pathashala Principal Sri Avadhani, the Tiruppavai will be recited every day at 7pm starting from Friday by students and faculty in the holy month of Dhanurmasam in the campus.

The Principal also said for the prosperity and well being of the humanity the Rigveda Pavamana Homam will be performed in the Dharmagiri Vedapathashala premises on Saturday December 17 by 12Noon which will be graced by TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam.
