TTD TRUST BOARD MEETING
Tirumala, 05 Nov 2011(P.R.O) The TTD board under the chairmanship of Sri Kanumuri Bapi has taken some important decisions during the board meeting held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Saturday. The meeting was also attended by its members Sri R. Surya Prakash Rao, Sri Muthyam Reddy, Smt Rajeshwari, ex-officio members TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam, Principal Secretary Revenue Endowments Sri KV Ramanachary, Endowments Commissioner Sri Balaramaiah. Some of the important resolutions:
# TTD will be organising All India Veda Mahasabha soon in Tirumala where in pontiffs of various mutts, vedic scholars across the country will take part. (The date has not been finalised)
# The board has appointed eminent scholar Brahmasri Malladi Chandra Sekhara Shastri as the Asthana Pundit of TTD.
# The members of the board has unanimously taken a decision to see that Nitya Dhoopa Deepa Naivedyam scheme be implemented in an efficient manner in all the temples especially in SC, ST and BC areas. The first priority will be to renovate temples which are in dilapidated condition and the second is to give financial aid to such temples which have already completed the base level construction.
# Two new kalyanamandapams at a cost of Rs.90lakhs each will be coming at GD Kal of Lingala Mandal in Warangal district and another at Daulatabad of Medak district. (The motto of TTD is to see that these Kalyanamandapams serve needs of poor and middleclass families as they are cost-effective).
# The brahmotsava bahumanam to the TTD employees has been enhanced to Rs.7500 from Rs.6500.
JEOs Sri KS Srinivasa Raju and Sri Venkatrami Reddy, CVSO Sri MK Singh, FACAO Sri Bhaskar Reddy were also present.
TIRUCHANOOR PADMAVATHI AMMAVARU BRAHMOTSAVAMS POSTERS INAUGURATED
The TTD chairman along with other members has released the posters and invitations of Sri Tiruchanoor Padmavathi Ammavaru Brahmotsavams which are slated to take place from November 21 to November 29.
