Ekantha Seva

Ekantha Seva : Here ekantha means alone with family.  Lord is given a formal ritual and offered fruits and warm milk as a last food offering for the day.  Later Lord is placed on the cot carefully by Vaikhanasa archaka.  Lord is carefully put to Bed on a Swing Cot, with head towards south and his divine feet pointing towards North. After this a descendent from Tallapaka Annamacharya family, sing Lullaby’s (also called ‘Laali PaaTalu’ in telugu) and after this the last Karpoora Harathi is offered to Lord, called ‘Muthyala Harathi’ in memory of the Lord’s Devotee, Tarigonda Vengamamba.This is the Last ritual of the temple for the day.  Archakas carefully check for things to be in proper order to avoid any unfortunates and finally close the doors of Ramulavari Meda and then the Bangaru Vakili and Lock it.  Temple is officially closed for the Day.
