Pallavotsavam celebrated in Tirumala
Tirupati , July 25 :
In view of the birth anniversary of the Mysore Maharaja I, the unique Pallavotsavam ritual was celebrated with religious fervour in Tirumala on Monday evening.

The TTD has been performing Pallavotsavam for several decades in connection with the birth anniversary of the Maharaja I of Mysore Sansthan, who made huge contributions to Lord Venkateswara.

After Sahasra Deepalankara Seva, the processional deity of Lord Malayappa Swamy was taken on a ride to the Mysore Sansthan at Tirumala where the Lord was accorded religious reception by the representatives of the Karnataka government.

Later the Lord was given special harati and prasadams distributed to pilgrims.
