TTD EO stand in queue and sets example
Interacts with devotees on quality and service
The delicious sakkare-pongal ( sweet rice bath) ,the favorite sweet dish of Lord Venkateswara will soon be an added delicacy at the Annadanam complex in Triumala, abode of Lord Venkateswara .
The prominent religious shrine of south India Tirumala Tirupati Dewasthanams has plans to serve more Delicious food items at its brand new Annadanam complex inaugurated last week by President of India Smt Pratibha Devising Patil .
The massive new annadanam complex which has a capacity to serve food to one lakh pilgrims introduce more dishes which are already popular for visitors to temple of Lord Venkateswara says TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam.
The EO along with other top TTD officials joined the the common pilgrim queue line in Annadanam complex and inspected the catering service on Tuesday. He also interacted with a few pilgrims on the quality and service at the complex and sought suggestions from them to improve the conditions for benefit of devotees .
Later speaking to media persons he said, “the TTD is now mulling over to introduce much tastier food of Andhra to all devotees .Our officials are preparing a menu chart with mouth watering delicacies for introduction in the free meals section .”.
Expressing satisfaction over the functioning at the new annadanam complex by staff and volunteers he said in the old complex there was a 40 minute gap between rounds of serving the devotees which has not been reduced to 15 minutes which we aim to reduce to five minutes .
.Quoting traditional script “Annam Parabrahma Swaroopam”, the EO said, the food was divine and should not be wasted by both pilgrims and staff.
” The Annapurna Devi sloka will be recited before pilgrims begin eating and we also plan to set up a shoe-keeping counter out side the Annadanam Complex soon for their benefit “, he said.
The EO presently only two of the four massive halls in Annadanam complex were opened up for service and in two weeks timeother two halls will also be roped in pilgrims service
Tirumala JEO Sri KS Srinivasa Raju, Tirupati JEO Dr.N.Yuvraj, CVSO Sri MK Singh, ACVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy, FACAO Sri Bhaskar Reddy, CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Deputy EO Annadanam Sri Gajapathi, Income Tax officials Sri Srinivasa Rao and Sri Ramana Rao and other officials were also attended the Annadanam complex visit by the EO.
