Tirumanjanam ritual on July 12
Tirupati , July 8:

The traditional temple cleansing ritual, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam, will be performed in the temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on July 12 in view of the annual Anivara Asthanam, the assemblage of the Lord’s court, which falls on July 17.

This purification festival of the sanctum sanctorum and its premises is usually performed four times a year before the Ugadi festival, Anivara Asthanam, annual Brahmotsavams and Vaikuntha Ekadasi.

As per the TTD almanac, the Salakatla Anivara Asthanam in Srivari temple will take place on July 17.

In this connection, the Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be performed on July 12.

The cleaning of the sanctum sanctorum, sub-temples and prasada paniyaram potu will take place between 6 am and 11am on July 12.

In view of this ritual, the TTD has cancelled Astha Dala Pada Padmaradhana seva on that day.
Pilgrims will be allowed for Sarva Darshan from noon.

During this ritual, all puja vessels and temple premises will be cleansed.
